|  The Quinta which has been our family home for many years has also been run as Portugal's first and famous clothing optional holiday center with holistic health and massage center. And has
been an arts school and gallery.
The Quinta da Horta has been featured in numerous travel books and guides and several TV holiday documentaries. The property is generally in good order and well maintained and has always benefited from the attentions of a resident maintenance operative. The present owners have developed and looked after the gardens for many years with one inexpensive part time helper.

 Ferragudo is a thriving historic fishing village with an enlarging tourist community.
The Quinta da Horta is a 5 minute walk from the harbour and village square and 10 minutes from the main leisure beach, a new marina and hotel complex are due to star
construction this year. Te Quinta fronts directly on to the new “Ciclovia do Algarve”, a 100+km cycle route along the cost giving easy access to large areas of countryside and farmland, ideal for riding, carriage driving and cycling.
